Anima Mundi (Latin: World Soul) is considered by many different civilisations a fundamental connection between all living things on the planet, the same way a soul is tethered to the human body.
Initially this project at its inception was to investigate individual judgment on strangers, however Sarah Lin found that discerning judgment on people was an extremely depressing and hateful process, and began her focus on how they seemed to perceive and apperceive themselves.
What she found was a sense of kinship and nothing but love for strangers and friends who accepted her invitation or by their own volition, to be drawn by her.
With the shaky political climate and incidents of racism and discrimination on the rise, Sarah Lin pro- poses Anima Mundi as an avenue of engaging with people from different walks of life and letting fate of these chance encounters for her to spend 10 minutes or more with a stranger, looking into their eyes and seeking out the thread of Anima Mundi.
